Roller Shade Project for Chipotle at 48th St and Broadway in Phoenix

The slideshow above represents a project we completed for a new Chipotle located in Phoenix at 48th St and Broadway.  Chipotle's restaurants always have a pleasant ambiance and this location was no exception.  The addition of roller shades only added to the pleasant atmosphere by controlling the glare of the on the East facing windows while leaving a clear view to the outdoors.

Solar Roller Shade Project for TD Industries in Tempe, AZ

12/30/2017

In my opinion, the folks at TD Industries in Tempe, Arizona did an amazing job choosing an affordable and beautiful look for their new solar roller shades for their office.  They had several high windows over some cubicle areas which faced South which caused a fair amount of discomfort for those employees assigned to that area.

They chose a 3% white linen material to increase the natural light while decreasing the glare and heat.  These white shades were then matched with black hardware, cord, and hold-down to match their windows mullion.  They deployed these shades in the lobby, conference room and cubicle bullpen for maximum effectiveness.  The result was extremely pleasant.

The pictures in this slideshow are from a recently completed project for a new Tokyo Joe's location in Surprise, Arizona.  The job was still under construction at the time of installation but it was still easy to see that the solar roller shades were an amazing addition to what will be a uniquely cool restaurant.

Of interest, is the contrasting silver chain and metal select hold-down against the black mullion window frame- a stunning look.

Roller Shade Project for The Air National Guard in Phoenix, Arizona

The pictures in this slideshow depict a recent project for the Air National Guard base located in Phoenix, Arizona.  This is the fourth phase of this project which has been spread out over several years.

We provided a black-out shade mounted nearest the window with a 10% solar roller shade in front of that shade.  The system includes a dual fascia for a clean look.  However, most important is the functionality.  This dual design allows for maximum heat control when the windows are in direct sunlight with a great view through and glare control when the windows are shaded.

Of course, we would love to help you with your office's roller shade project.  Also, be sure to check out our online roller shade calculator for a rough idea of what your project might cost.  Or, please use this contact form to describe your project with rough sizes, and we will gladly email you a rough estimate.

Roller Shade Repair Project for Chipotle Restaurant in Glendale, AZ

11/5/2017

The pictures in this slideshow are quite revealing especially if you consider that these blinds are 5 years old.  The solar roller shades in this Chipotle Restaurant receive hard commercial use every day.  Trust me when I say that these blinds were not carefully used but rather were abused.

Remarkably, after five years, we were able to replace a few clutches and chains, make some minor adjustments and had the blinds back to working as good as new.  The fabrics still looked great and the functionality for west-facing windows was perfect.

So, if you are concerned about the durability of roller shades in a commercial application, take heart as this proves that solar roller shades are tough and with minor repairs will last years.  Just imagine how well they would perform if they were in a more controlled light use environment.

Of course, we would love to help you with your restaurant's roller shade project.  Also, be sure to check out our online roller shade calculator for a rough idea of what your project might cost.  Or, please use this contact form to describe your project with rough sizes, and we will gladly email you a rough estimate.

Roller Shade Project for Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Gilbert, Arizona

This slideshow depicts a recent project for a Grimaldi's restaurant in Gilbert, Arizona.  This location has South and West facing windows and as such opted for a 1% fabric to control the heat.  The manager shared with us that without the shades, any table in the sun is unusable.

We took these pictures in the morning, before any direct sunlight was on the windows, and left the blinds positioned so you could see the difference between an uncovered window and shaded window. From our perspective, solar roller shades are a must for any restaurant or retail establishment.

What a beautiful project.  We provided 4ea solar fixed solar shades above some existing wood blinds.

This mountain cabin is located in Lakeside, Arizona and had 4ea large trapezoidal windows which were uncovered.  During certain times of the day, the sunlight was adversely affecting the furniture and flooring- causing fading.  Additionally, the home was uncomfortably lit.  The end results, a comfortable home with 95% UV protection for the furnishings while preserving the beautiful view.
